What is EFT?

I keep mentioning the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and haven't really explained what it is. So here's a quote taken from the EFT website.

"It is a unique version of acupuncture except you don't use needles. Instead, you stimulate well established energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips".

EFT works on the basis that our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases. This is hardly new or original thought and has been part of Eastern healing practices for many thousands of years. There is nothing new under the sun.

But the traditional model of medical practice works on the separation of mind, body and spirit and the concept of EFT is often one that is hard for them to accept. I think that this is because it promotes the idea of the patient being able to take greater responsibility for their own healing, which in itself promotes a greater recovery.

But the main reason that I love EFT is that it is so easy to use and it is free! The EFT website offers a free 79 page download which explains EFT in detail and the layman can begin working with it straight away. The website is very comprehensive and offers numerous case studies by EFT practitioners on how EFT has helped often hard to treat issues which haven't responded to any other forms of treatment.

Take some time and investigate this site and better still, download the the extensive free manual. For a small investment of your time, you'll have a healing technique (literally) at your fingertips to ensure greater health and well being.
